What is it?
Cult Community is a weekly newsletter for anyone interested in learning about cults, their followers, and the circumstances that drive people to them. CC pushes readers to rethink everything they’ve learned about cults and the histories that shape them.
Subscribers receive either the Weekly Cult Roundup or longer essays like “Addressing The Lizard In The Room: Christian Reptilian Conspiracy Theorists” each week.
Who am I?
I’m Ashely Tisdale, PhD. *waving at you* I am a literature professor by day and cult content creator by night.
When I started sharing my cult interests on TikTok I had no idea that it would evolve into a community of 40,000+ people.
